Cyberbahn’s PPSA Search and Registration Service allows users to conduct searches and registrations under the Personal Property Security Act and Repairs and Storage Liens Act in Ontario. Please note that Corporation Security Registration Act (CSRA) active filings registered prior to October 1989 are also noted in this database and will appear on search reports.

PPSA search results are provided instantly if the report is less than 40 pages long. These reports are called “verbal” reports due to the fact that results used to be verbally reported back to clients. With the advent of electronic searching, the results are now provided in PDF format. If the report contains over 40 pages, then a certified copy will be made available on the following business day. In these instances, the printout is delivered according to the arrangements that are made with Cyberbahn upon registration to the service.
